| My art deals a lot about restructuring and remixing. The Recycled Angel is perhaps embodiment of that. Her head was found abandoned along a desert highway by my friend Temple's parents. Sun-bleached and stained - either the artifact of abandonment or true crime. Her body is the leftover remains of my altered Lylliona from Queenie's http://www.pocketfullofposiez.com/, can be seen in the remixed section of my site. The lobster claws, smiling ornaments and wings are from the Center for Creative Re-Use. The box is made from ripped and torn canvas frames. The plastic is from an abandoned poster frame. The bloody gause from Halloween decor. |
