BLOG 2-15-08

Yeah sorry I'm tardy with the strip this week....had a lot going on...and i actually finished and all but THINGS happened. i'm not all together sure this week's strip works for me....we are exploring more of Virgil's job as a picture framer...in this episode he's asked to make a shadowbox, which if you're unfamiliar, is a box you hang on the wall with 3-D items glued inside, i have had many people ask for many strange things to immortalize in a ting such as this. very strange, I've never had someone ask for taxidermy to be mounted like Virgil here but i wouldn't be shocked if there was someone out there like that...i hope everyone is enjoying the strip still, as you can see i cheated with the wall of frame samples behind Virgil. Hey why not? this is the digital age...I'd like to thank the good people at Michael's for doing absolutely nothing to prevent me from photographing their wall for the purposes of not drawing hundreds of frame samples....amen
