BLOG 4-4-07
Hey everyone, here is Chap. 3. By far this week's comic was one of the funnest comics I've done. I went a little crazy with the lens flare, but in the age of 'webcomics' how do you not use the lens flare?? The build up I'm working on is more for visual humor....I hope it's working. A few things about this month... On April 21-22 (weekend) I and my JoeDon friends will be at APE Con in San Francisco. On a SV level I will be selling oringinal strips from the Vermyn Vault for a fee. We will also test the merchandise market with the new JoeDon Hat. We've only got a few for the con but this summer I should have JoeDon AND Social Vermyn hats for sale here on this site, as well as printed works!! My mom's sewing the hats and they look like real shit!! I'll have photos so you can see them. The following weekend, if anyone is in the greater Fremont area, I will also be appearing at the SUPER-FUN-TIME-MANGA-COMIC On a more kick ass note.... I strive to be apart of the webcomics community, to earn the respect of readers and peers....and in my opinon, nothing shows more respect than an invite to do a guest strip...and later this month I will be doing just that for Chris JOnes of GRUMPS fame. I'm almost done coloring it and if I understand correctly, it will be up on Chris' site in the middle of the month, I'll let you know when. Thanks Chris!!
