Well for the most part we have all our
shopping done. DONE. A few impulse buys here and there to shore up
our numbers with the kids is all that remains. One might suggest
that this week I have decided to illustrate the hypocrisy of
religion and the dangers of avarice.....when in fact Victor is
simply using theology as a smokescreen designed to help him
weasel out of spending money on someone other than himself. On a
side note, I always have a rigid and strict budget when Holiday
shopping and have never allotted for my co-workers. This becomes
awkward when I'm presented with Starbucks gift cards and boxes of
chocolates that have been procured from foreign lands by our
friends at Cost Plus. I never know what to say and every year I
say the same thing "Awww, you shouldn't have done that" Which in
some cases is true, for my taste in chocolates rarely ventures far
from the white rooms of See's. Damn I'm wordy today, maybe
because I'm not typing this at 1 a.m........In any event, in case
I don't personnally convey this to you, have a kick ass holiday
and be safe in the malls when returning all your crap next
Wednesday.
