BLOG 11-1-06

Hey y'all.....I'm late......sorry......Halloween was interesting. Enough to make me stall my damn comic.  I'd describe my night to you, but that's a different comic all together.  In any case, thanks for your patience, technically It's still Hump Day!! This week I'm paying homage to a local TV personality here in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Mr. Pat McCormic.  He did a number of TV gigs, including weather man duties for channel 2.  One of my favorate TV moments was when he did these Public Service Announcements with hand puppets.  This comic is a recreation of one such message featuring  the immortal Charlie Horse.  Note the fruit loop nostrils and Skipper hat.  It was the 70's.  For those readers who dwell outside the realm of the Bay Area, this is not meant as an inside joke to exclude you, although if you had seen these little puppet shows, you'd have busted a gut.  Again, sorry for the delay, and thanks to those who wrote to make sure I wasn't dead.  Be sure to tune in next week as I introduce a new character to the Social Vermyn!  Are you foaming at the mouth??!!
