For the last 6 months I have been eating lunch in the breakroom. I figured I needed to be seen and maybe a little less of a hermit. I quickly realized how SMALL the lunchroom is. Anyone talking on a cell phone in close proximity is gonna be loud, but I've heard a couple co-workers on their phone in another language and it just seemed louder. I mean, it is a public space...communal if you will. I certainly have no say in how people spend THIER break but it is kinda funny observing yourself once in a while and discovering what a pain in the ass YOU are. I will say that there have been times where I have been tempted to go back out to my car. It's just too damned cramped in there.
