Designer Fakes is a term I borrowed from Warhol who borrowed a whole lot from a whole lotta other people.

Basically this series could be considered Fan Art, tribute to, ode, or a celebration of the artist. None of these pieces will be sold (by me) and are mailed freely to the artists that inspired them.

Lost Goat was the 1st in the series. I love her Goatly creations. Maybe it's because I'm a Capricorn. I went kinda nuts with it.

My uncle is Robert Graysmith, previous cartoonist for the SF Chronicle, writer of the book about the Zodiac Killer and portrayed in the movie. I did the Zodiac as part of my Designer Fakes series. Chuck Hodi is famous for serial killer art and this was my nod to him.
