Altar to Ghosts The head was found in a remote place on Oakland called Dog's Solitude. It's eyes (after spending months trapped in mud and being routinely savaged) rest sideways. In this piece I was trying to incorporate cemeteries, caskets, corpses and incantations. The doll head is positioned to match the feel of those eerie 40's séance literature. |
